On my list as the greatest film ever made. Again, Hollywood doesn't make films of this caliber anymore. There are no John and Walter Houstons, there are no Tim Holts or Humphey Bogarts. So this is your chance to see the absolute pinnacle of great filmmaking, based on a great novel.
I'm not going to go into the film because everyone else does that ad nauseum. I'm just going to say it's an experience you'll never forget. And even when we believe the worst has happened.
.maybe it's really not as bad as it could have been.
