Top quality Hollywood thriller. It's pretty on the nose and lacking in subtlety (money makes you super greedy!) but effective and exciting. Bogart plays a mostly unlikable and often infuriating character very well.
Let down for me a little by a thoroughly anti climactic ending, still what comes before it is pretty damn good.
