Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by Kerby H — 05 Jul 2013
I personally didn't really enjoy this movie as much as I supposedly should've. It's number 38 on my AFI Top 100 list and I found myself trying to occupy myself with other things whilst watching.
It's an action film, much like Indiana Jones about 3 guys who head out to find gold as they're all skint, but end up with a severe case of paranoia. But the acting was overdone, the edits were too jumpy to maintain a smooth image and the music was overbearing.
Shame, had great potential.
