Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by Tanner B — 26 Sep 2013
Three poor strangers Dobbs, Curtain, and McCormick join up in search of the ultimate dream; to find gold, and become filthy rich. But the problem isn't finding the gold, it's sharing it. The characterizations are more fascinating then the actual gold! Which makes this one of the most entertaining films ever made.
The director won Oscars for the screenplay, and his direction, also MacLane won an Oscar for his "golden" performance.
