Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by Dodge W — 04 Sep 2008
A great American classic about greed and depravity. Humphrey Bogart shows why he is considered a film legend. There wasn't much to the story, but the insight into the human nature was excellent. You could see the ending from the very beginning, but yet you were hoping that it wouldn't happen.
I love the "Badges, we don't need no stinkin Badges" line. Watch this classic if you get the chance, you won't be disappointed.
