Review of The Transporter Refueled (2015) by Thomas P — 04 Jan 2016
In order of ranking, The Transporter (Statham) is by far the best of the property. Next would come Transporter 2, followed by Refueled, and I can't even remember what Transporter 3 was about so I guess that's last.
The negatives for me: 1) Ed Skreen's voice is distracting. I'm not sure if it's his real voice or if he was doing a Statham impersonation, but it sounded like the latter. 2) An actor that I enjoy, Ray Stevenson, appeared like he phoned this one in for me. 3) the jet ski flip through a car window and drop kick out of the door, which is all the explanation needed. That single act made all the other fight sequences bad by association. 4) I'll never watch this again.
The positive: 1) There were some (although ridiculous) new car tricks that were fun. 2) The girls were attractive, and 3) It's just a movie.
