Review of The Transporter (2002) by Baurushan J — 11 Oct 2012
The story is about an officer named Frank Martin played by Jason Statham who also has a second career as a underworld driver for hire who lives by three rules- once the plan is in motion it cannot be changed, neither he nor his customers are to ever use their real names, and under no circumstances will he open the package.
Unfortunately he has to break one of his own rules to find out that there is a woman named Lai who tries to escape but Frank captures her delivers her to Wall Street who turn out to be in partnership with Lai's dad and their plan is to smuggle Asians illegally into France.
But Frank however sets out to rescue Lai and put her dad and Wall Street out of business. Movies like these are creatively action-packed in a simplistic way and Jason Statham owns a certain kind of role in his very own franchise but for me, I thought the sequel was better which I'll discuss soon.
The Transporter gets a 8.5/10.
