One of my all-time favorite movies, and also one that killed my childhood everytime I would watch the epic battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron. Do NOT fuck with Optimus Prime, watch it and you'll understand.
"The Touch" will get stuck in your head. It's THE song of the movie. Aside from that, Transformers has some great cheesy 80's metal that work well with the movie. Hot Rod is a douche is the theme of the movie, and it does a good job of showing it.
Mattel wanted to roll a new line of Transformers out, so a movie is a great way to get that across. Introduce all new Transformers to the movie, and people will buy it. Just some advice....don't kill 99% of your old line and expect people to instantly buy the new ones.
..really shitty idea. Recommended for anyone who actually thinks the live action Transformers movie from 2007 is what Transformers are all about.
