Review of The Transformers: The Movie (1986) by Arwin K — 16 Apr 2012

My personal favorite animated film of all time... still. The movie has everything you could wish for as a fan. Autobots are about to become extinct, great leader prevents this and single handedly wipes out half the decepticon army, a young autobot causes his leader to die by making a mistake, new leader rises but turns out to be a false prophet, young autobot makes up for his mistake and becomes the rightful heir op Optimus.

The soundtrack combined with the scenes and the smooth transition from the old generation to the new leaves an imprint true fans will carry with them for as long as they live.
