Review of The Transformers: The Movie (1986) by Brian W — 01 Mar 2011
With the exception of the whiny kid sidekick, this movie is how Transformers should be. Lots of robots fighting and killing each other. With an much bigger world and epic plot, the movie had more the feel of the comics than the repetitive cartoons.
But with the same awesome voice acting the cartoon had. It would have been nice if at least ONE older character survived the movie, but they're robots...most of them came back to life sometime anyway.
Oh, and the soundtrack was great too.
