Review of The Tracey Fragments (2007) by Alex R — 21 Jul 2008
I love Ellen Page...I thought I should just get that out of the way. The Tracey Fragments caught my attention because of it's trailer. I love indies, and this one was done with fragmented split-screen shots from multiple angles.
I loved how they played up the fragments with the nonlinear storytelling as well. The story is powerful and gripping and the ideas are definitely easy it identify with if you've ever been a teenager (I suspect most of you have) Finally Ellen Page just rules, it's plain and simple.
This film is not for everyone, but fans should at least give it a try.
