This movie was pure genius, and I could not disagree more with the negative reviews below me. I did not find it pretentious in the slightest; it was smart, provocative, engaging, and artfully executed.
The unusual style takes some getting used to, sure, but really lends a powerful visual element to the film that couldn't have been accomplished otherwise.
