Review of The Tracey Fragments (2007) by Jessica M — 28 Aug 2008
I think this movie could easily turn people away because of certain stylistic choices, but I found myself drawn in despite the busy visual scheme. I thought it was perfectly structured in terms of character development; you go from believing her and her story to realizing that a lot of it is just in her head.
They reveal this in little fragmented pieces throughout the film, but it really comes together during the last part of the movie. Very imaginative editing and the acting/writing was well suited for the intended message, though I could see how people might not agree with me.
