Review of The Tracey Fragments (2007) by Chris V — 29 Dec 2008
This film was nothing more than pure artsy crap. I can't believe I wasted my time with this one. Not only did the film seem to have a screaming nightmarish atmosphere, but it was so disasterous, I'd have to say it's right up there with last years bombastic train wreck "I Know Who Killed Me.
" And horses keep showing up in this movie for no reason at all, well there probably is a reason, but I don't care. This is a 75-minute bottom of the barrel freak show, that drives you crazy with all of the cut up boxes that you see endlessly throughout the film.
Then they include a soundtrack that does nothing more but add to the film's madness. From what I could gather from this junk was that the Page character is crazy, she is treated horribly by nearly eveyone around her, she's on a journey to find her lost brother, who by the way thinks he's a dog.
And on her free time, she sees a cross dressing psychiatrst. The script is bad, filled with f-bombs, and pervasive dialogue, making this the quentasential crap fest of the year. You can't help but wonder what the people were thinking when they got involved with this dreck.
One star for Page's performance, otherwise I truely hated this movie.
