Review of The Toy (1982) by Albatross G — 12 Jan 2011
Excellent. The movie's got a great message too, and who better than Richard Pryor to give it after being pranked for the umpteenth time by spoiled little whimsical Eric Bates (Scott Schwartz)? This movie is so watchable, darling, and hilarious, and I had to see it (then buy it) after the promo caught my eye on tv.
Both Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason have some hilarious moments (more so from Pryor, of course). Also, great supporting cast, and a lively score. See it!
