Review of The Toxic Avenger (1984) by Chris C — 08 Apr 2008

I understand that The Toxic Avenger and all of it's sequels are B-movie classics, but that doesn't mean they're great. The original Toxic Avenger is one of the better ones (although not quite as good as Citizen Toxie), chock full of all the ridiculous gratuity that one would expect from The Toxic Avenger, the b-movies of b-movies.

It's definitely entertaining and easily lovable, but not necessarily good. If you like b-movies, you owe it to yourself to see this classic, but don't necessarily feel compelled to buy it. No one needs more than one Toxic Avenger movie in their collection, so save your money for the fourth.
