Review of The Toxic Avenger (1984) by Martin S — 04 Nov 2010

A "classic" of the Troma films about a teenager being bullied by peers at a gym until he gets covered with toxic waste (while wearing a tutu), in which he turns into a growling mutant with superpowers with a dubbed-over voice (still wearing a tutu) and saves people from criminals and crooks alike while taking revenge on the teenagers who were responsible for what he has become, while getting into an relashionship with a blind woman whom he attempts to have sex with (even with his pants on, together with a tutu). It's camp, over the top and stupidity at it's best.

If you like junk-food, then The Toxic Avenger is pure junk-food for the brain. It's not healthy, but it's tasteful!
