"The Toxic Avenger" is a comically violent and self-aware film, with a decent (although wacky) plot about a loser turned into a toxic monster who cleans up the streets. It pokes fun at superhero and 80's clichés in a way that is absurdly amusing, ultimately making for a pretty enjoyable film.
