Review of The Town that Dreaded Sundown (2014) by Richard B — 14 Jul 2015
8.5/10 - This was a pretty damned good movie. I wasn't expecting much, but it's a very smart "sequel" to a cheesy 70's horror flick. It's a sequel, but, it's not. They reference the original movie and use it's story (which is loosely based on a real series of murders) as backdrop.
It was pretty smart, until a "twist" at the end that left me a little flat. Overall tho, it's a well paced, well acted movie with just enough red to satisfy a gore hound like myself. Highly recommend.
Check'r.
