Review of The Town that Dreaded Sundown (2014) by Elijah M — 17 Jul 2016

This film should've gotten a wide release, it's way more clever than any horror films that have came out in recent years, and it's a refreshing take on the slasher genre. The plot is nice and there is a lot of character building, even though some parts are very boring.

The kills are just better version of the 70s film, but it still leaves you smiling. The motivations and the twist are somewhat satisfying, but the motivations do seem a bit dull. All in all, The Town That Dreaded Sundown is a nice watch for any slasher enthusiast.
