Review of The Town That Dreaded Sundown (1976) by Erik W — 02 Oct 2014
Holy crap... where do you start with this? Part "Andy Griffith Show" part "Prowler" this movie is simply bizarre. The pace is PAINFULLY slow for a horror film, and the completely slapstick nature of some scenes is perplexing.
The ending is so unfulfilling and there is only ONE fun death sequence. All I can say is that I will never look at a trombone the same way again. You can definitely skip this one. I wish I had.
