When it comes to heist films it doesn't get much better then this. Some of the heist scenes in this movie stand right up there with the classic scene from the movie Heat and I'd say the Nun car chase scene would surpass it even.
This movie hits on every note. The themes jump successfully from redemption to revenge to new beginnings and karma. Its an action flick with a heart that is directed almost flawlessly. Ben Affleck really shows promise after this and his prior effort, Gone Baby Gone as a director.
Its a little long in the time department but its worth the watch. An instant classic.
