Review of The Town (2010) by Angie K — 01 Dec 2012
Ben Affleck stars and directs this suspenseful thriller about four money thieves. I have never seen a Affleck film and I must admit he knows how to make a good movie.
The story was not just about the action either as we are transferred to the individual life of Affleck's character and his new found love with one of his kidnapped victims. Well played emotions, complimented by Harry Gregson-Williams beautiful score, turns this film into a gripping emotional thriller. It's nice to experience a good suspense film with the added integrity of a well written story.
