What is it about movies set in Boston that make them carry such charm?
The Town, as far as I'm concerned, is the best cops and robbers movie since the Departed. With Heat being the grandaddy of them all, still.
Ben Affleck really comes through as the lead role here, his Bostonite on screen chemistry with Jeremy Renner definitely makes the movie a treat for those who like a little personality behind their bullets.
Seen by many as Afflecks positive turning point, I too can now safely attest to that.
