Review of The Town (2010) by Ali P — 06 Oct 2012

I don't understand the near universal approval of this film by critics. Is it because Ben Affleck directed and wrote it? It's a passable film. I thought it was cliched and corny, the romantic element unbearably cheesy and unconvincing.

I enjoyed the action sequences but wasn't so keen on the violence. I continued to watch it because I wanted to see the outcome and I'd paid £3 for it.
