Objectively, its excellent. two films in, we have proof that afflecks directing skills are no fluke. this film doesnt have the emotional and intellectual impact that gone baby gone does, but its a phenomenal american thriller with an excellent script, wonderful direction, and really solid acting across the board.
even affleck, who I now love as a director but question as an actor, was solid in this film. overall, a truly excellent film. not as good as many of the old french heist "greats", but a very solid addition to the american heist film legacy.
