Review of The Town (2010) by Ben N — 21 Feb 2015
This film, while not overtly terrible, thinks way too much of itself for its own good. Ben Affleck is apparently a good director all of a sudden but I still really just do not like him as an actor, he always seems unnecessarily impersonal--it's hard to find a likeable person in there, in this film especially.
The story is utterly ludicrous and might as well have worked as that of a 40's gangster flick but set in this day and age, it does not work,.
