Review of The Town (2010) by Chad L — 10 Apr 2013

This movie isn't necessarily perfect but to me perfection doesn't constitute a "Perfect Rating". The reason I gave this movie the rating I did is because not only is it extremely well made, and not only was I completely immersed in the world that this movie takes place in, but I was actually having physical responses while watching the film.

And if a film is able to make me physically move, or cringe, or bite my fingernails then it's doing something right. And of course it also helps that I thoroughly enjoyed the acting and the directing as well.

If someone put a gun to my head and said which movie do you like more "Argo"? or "The Town"? I think I would just have to tell them to pull the trigger because I've been trying to figure it out and I simply just can't come to a conclusion.

And the fact that I can't make up my mind just goes to show how good Ben Affleck is because he truly has created brilliant pieces of cinematography. After watching this movie I felt so inspired because I could tell that a lot of time, hard work, and passion went into making this film and that really makes me happy to see.

If you're thinking about watching this movie please do, however, be advised that this movie is extremely violent and there is a lot of swearing, as well as some nudity. Overall though I loved this movie and I can see why so many others do too.
