Review of The Town (2010) by Breeyon B — 28 Aug 2012
It's interesting that Heat is in the 'more like this' section on this website because it did occur to me that there are similarities, even if The Town falls short of Michael Mann's masterpiece.
This is quite an interesting film but it's not anything revelatory and this sort of thing has been done to greater effect in the past. I am yet to see Gone Baby Gone but it does seem as though Affleck has the potential to be a solid film-maker.
