Review of The Town (1944) by Gaspar O — 09 Aug 2012
I didn't like this as much as most folks and I'll tell you why. Not all of us are from Bastin, drive cahs and drink beeah. The dialogue was barely discernible, partly because of shitty sound editing, but mostly because everyone was talking with a half closed mouth full of shit.
I don't know what a townie is, or a southie or a northie or even a northnorthwestie, but I could have probably enjoyed this a whole lot more if I wasn't constantly rewinding and saying "What'd he say?" Decent movie with an audio fail.
