Review of The Towering Inferno (1974) by Paul T — 25 Aug 2008
Although I love The Poseidon Adventure, I have to say that The Towering Inferno was the movie which began my love of good disaster flicks. The all-star cast really is all-star in this case, and Irwin Allen couldn't miss with Newman and McQueen going head to head.
Look out for a very young Susan Flannery - now famous as the matriarch of The Bold And The Beautiful - taking a fiery dive apres an office tryst with Robert Wagner.
