Review of The Towering Inferno (1974) by Mark A — 04 Dec 2010

Steve McQueen can rip an elevator off a burning building with his bare hands-- what have you done for me lately? This was a pretty good disaster movie for its time, and it would still stand up pretty well today, except that since then, 9/11 happened and was far worse than this movie imagined.

Even for that, it's actually pretty interesting to see what was about the worst thing people could imagine back then.
