Review of The Towering Inferno (1974) by Jason H — 24 Apr 2011
What makes this stand out, still over it's usual disaster movie counterparts isn't the effect sequences, which do stand up fairly well with time, it is the good performances and stellar cast. The story is very good considering the topic.
My only complaints are the long length and some of the effects are implausible. All in all it's a very enjoyable movie with great performances.
