'The Tourist', drama or comedy? Perhaps dramedy or seriocomedy? Let's just say this film is how director Henckel von Donnersmarck described it - "a travel romance with thriller elements". It doesn't fundamentally matter because this movie is terrible.
The scenery is beautiful. Paris is nice but Venice is the MAIN star. Just a shame the awesome backdrop of the city can't take away the fact the chemistry between the two leads is awkward. Not even Johnny Depp's present guyiner could save this sinking ship.
