Very promising premises - talented Depp, beautiful Venice as a backdrop, good director, but instead this was a lacklustre, wooden performance without any chemistry by the two protagonists, a ridiculous, far-fetched plot, some cringe-worthy comedy moments and a lame twist at the end.
Very, very disappointing.
