Review of The Tourist (2010) by Denise O — 23 Jan 2012
For the life of me still trying to figure out why this one was so panned by the critics. Which brings me off subject to why I never like to read reviews before I see a movie anyway. I have friends that do that. If I read and listened to everything critics said, I would not have seen 102 movies this year. I probably wouldnâ(TM)t have seen  1/2 of the movies I saw this year. I digressâ¦.
Ok, maybe the surprising twists werenâ(TM)t so surprising, but it was funny in parts, the scenes of Venice were beautiful and it had Johnny in it as well as Angelina and, as much as I hate to admit it, I do end up going to see a lot more of her movies than not.
Angelina plays a woman pursuing a man who is wanted by Interpol. She picks Johnny up on a train as a decoy and he foolishly follows her around Venice like a lost puppy. Well along with Interpol a Russian mafia-type soon joins the fray making life complicated for our little Johnny and a headache for Angelina.
The movie was entertaining enough but Johnny, dude, say it with meâ¦conditioner. You werenâ(TM)t a pirate in this movie. Stop acting like one.
