The director that won an Oscar for The Lives of Others, and the screenwriters that won an Oscar for The Usual Suspects and the Gosford Park, worked together and ended up with THIS? A boring, predictable, boring, and also boring film.
The whole setting on Venice is aesthetically beautiful but men the substance is a piece of crap. Depp most of the time looks like he's on auto-pilot, he should just stick with Burton and roles where he plays caricatures.
Jolie with the range of expressions of a porcelain doll is just irritating, she spends the entire time with the look of someone who enjoys the smell of their own farts. A seriously tedious piece of nonsense, at least Mr & Mrs.
Smith had her in a black latex corset.
