It could be him.

Frank Tupelo is an American tourist in Paris riding the train when a beautiful, but mysterious, young lady joins him. The woman tells him an exotic tale of stolen money from the Russian mob by a man wanted by numerous Patrol units. Frank initially finds her story fascinating until he is mistaken as the wanted man.

"I wish I could understand your choice in men.".

Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, director of The Lives of Others, delivers The Tourist in his second major motion picture. The storyline for this movie was fascinating and seemed like a poor man's Salt. The action scenes were better than average but not as intense as you may expect. The acting is solid and the cast includes Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Timonthy Dalton, Ruffus Sewell, and Paul Bettany.

"You shouldn't be here.".

"It's the one place on Earth I should be.".

The Tourist was a film I hoped to catch in theatres but somehow missed. I did think this was a clever movie with a great ending, sort of like Secret Window, but did not have great action sequences like similar recent picture in this genre such as Salt, True Lies, and Casino Royale. Overall, this is definitely worth your time but not an elite picture.
