Angelina Jolie looks incredible. Just amazing. The shots of Venice are nice too. If you are expecting anything else whatsoever you will be sorely disappointed.
In some ways you can see how this might have worked as a book with some extra description, narative and immersion, but it doesn't work here as a film, where everything is all about aesthetics at the expense of everything else. It is not a comedy - there is nothing funny in it, it is not a romance as there is zero chemistry between the leads and it is not a thriller as the plot is ridiculous and totally predictable. It is nothing really. Just a very dull way to spend two hours.
