Review of The Tourist (2010) by Luke T — 05 Apr 2014
This is meant to be a really bad film. But the first time I watched this, I liked it. The movie, directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, stars Johnny Depp as the American tourist who arrives in Italy and meets a beautiful, mysterious woman (Angelina Jolie).
I believe the storyline is easy to follow, because there are some scenes which keep you on the edge-of-the-seat. The film managed to score three Golden Globe nominations for Picture, Depp and Jolie, all in the Musical/Comedy category.
It cannot be all that bad, can it? I can place this on a list of "bad films which are actually enjoyable to watch".
