Saw this tonight at the orientation for the Riverrun International Film Fest. It's hilarious. I can't believe that I had never heard of the Topp Twins before seeing this. Jools and Lynda Topp are witty, original, and have a good cause.

During a tough fight in New Zealand they showed that homosexuals were about love, so why stop people from having a good time? They were outspoken when New Zealand wanted to make nuclear bombs. And the main thing to remember is that these are two women who were raised on a farm.

They don't go out to make fun of anyone or put anyone down, they are just about having a good time. Isn't that the way we should live out lives? They have an unforgettable bond. In a scene they talk about what would happen if the other one died, and their answer is the same as ours, "I couldn't imagine it.

" Leannae Pooley does a great job explaining to us why we should care about these women and who they are. She goes into great detail the changes that the Topp Twins made. It's done very well. The only complaints I have is that the movie feels like it ends abruptly and they say "that's it, hope you got it.

" Another problems is that it sometimes feels all over the place like they didn't know exactly where to go next. But it never ruins the film. I loved the Topp Twins so much that I wanted more, and no matter where it went I was always intrigued and excited to know what else they did.
