Review of The Topp Twins: Untouchable Girls (2009) by James W — 30 May 2011
A warm, engaging and touching look at the lives of Jools and Lynda Topp, two of New Zealands best loved entertainers. Charting their lives from when they were a couple of good ol' Kiwi girls, singing down on the farm to performing sold out concerts, this film shows just why New Zealanders hold this classic country combo and their assorted cast of charming characters so dear to their hearts.
The Topps will no doubt endear themselves to you too, through their good honest Kiwi humour and heavenly harmonising. When Cole Porter wrote "You're the Top" he should have added an extra 'p'.
..Jools and Lynda are Topps, and we wouldn't want them any other way! A must see movie!
