Review of The Tomorrow War (2021) by Hitzestau — 04 Jul 2021
The plot and the visual realization of the film are a mixup of Alien, Independence Day, World War Z, Starship Troopers and any movie that tries to solve problems by traveling through time. The whole story is full of predictable plots and situations and characters that sacrifice themselves like heroes.
In the end, it’s global warming that freed the alien space ship in the first place! So nothing really surprising here. The visual effects are rather poor, hard to imagine that this movie had been planed for a theatrical release.
Paramount can be glad that they sold it to Amazon and this saved them an embarrassment at the box office.
