A great cast, but a mess of a script. It's only sporadically funny, and most of the time that's just because they're mentioning subject matter that the author thinks will make the audience giggle.
Maudlin when it should be sharp, the eye-roll-inducing scene where Aubrey Plaza is forced to deliver the moral of the movie point blank seems to be just as embarrassing for her as it is for us.
