I appreciate the role reversal of the female teen sex comedy, but this one just doesn't work very well.Most of the jokes aren't funny, and simply come off as filthy for the sake of filthy. Plaza, who I love in Parks and Recreation, isn't as charming as her male counterparts, and that's a shame.

For a movie that should have worked as a chance to give women better roles, it failed to make the female characters the highlight. The film is also full of cliches from the overprotective father to the promiscuous friends and sister to the liberal mom.

It does pick up some steam in the second half, but not enough to win me over.
