Review of The To Do List (2013) by Sebastian O — 01 Nov 2013
One of the funniest (yet real), lighthearted (yet relatively healthy), representations of young (straight) female sexuality - including all of its F-ups - I've seen out of Hollywood... possibly ever.
I love how Aubrey Plaza's 4.0, valedictorian character puts the same amount of energy, research and dedication into her sexuality as she has into her academics; her drive to succeed sexually culminates in one of the final scenes (my favorite) where she's preparing to have intercourse for the first time and demands, "I want to be on top.
It increases my chance of orgasm by 40%", but her guy ends up finishing in seconds, leaving her scoffing and rolling her eyes completely unsympathetically. Loved this one, super cute.
