This movie had so much potential. But it was really convoluted. People and people-creatures (the evolved humanoids) just act in ways that are slightly incomprehensible. It would have been a better movie if the logic of the story had been more consistent and the motivation of the characters had been clearer.
As it was, there was violence and conflict for seemingly underwhelming reasons. Not a fan.
