Review of The Tingler (1959) by Timothy F — 08 Mar 2012
This is one of the best classics from horror icon William Castle, often he would include the audience/viewer(s) in the film by introducing himself in the beginning and using certain keys including the viewer(s).
This film has a campy plot, but somehow pulls out to be a great story of twist and suspense. This films stars another horror icon by the name Vincent Price, he also holds a big role in the film's atmosphere of horror.
I really wish that this 1959 classic could be re-released in theaters along with many other cinema classics, but sadly that's not happening, because this film really connects with the theater audience, something that cinema has left behind in a time that was long ago, but will never be forgotten.
