Review of The Tin Star (1957) by Tomas T — 28 Jun 2010
A classic contemplation of law and honor in the Old West. Fonda and Perkins have great chemistry as the grizzled old bounty hunter and the naive, idealistic sheriff. Perhaps it's a result of the era, but the drama does at times feel a bit toothless.
The film is a bit too good-natured to fully explore the struggle of being honorable in a land that rewards evil.
