Review of The Time Traveler's Wife (2009) by Angelina C — 15 Jul 2013
It was really, really slow and dull in the beginning, made me wanted to time travel out of the cinema! it picks up at the midpart thank god for that! then I started to understand the movie better. Some of the viewers would probably lose consciousness in the first 20 mins. Apparently this one is based on the best selling book about a love that transcends time. I have to read the novel, I don t comprehend parts of the movie. Eric Bana n Rachel McAdams leads. McAdams shared an amazing chemistry with Ryan Gosling in The Notebook but not a smidgen with Bana here.
In 1981, Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour starred in a similar tale of love and time travel called Somewhere in time, and of course that one was much better.
